lol... you know what, the desert camo is actually pretty cool. Looks much better in reality than photos.
My trousers are woodland camo, so I'm starting off a new trend. I will pick up another one in woodland camo when I see one at the right price in my size. Medium short are not so easy to find.

Finally, managed to get a 'minter' ECWCS Parka from Ebay while in the USA, worked out about £65, looks like it's never been worn. It's Tennessee Apparel instead of Tennier Industries but a bit of research reveals they were made to the exact same spec, they had to be. Going to have to keep my old one for warmer months as this one is quite heavy duty (and lined) compared to the British army one I have

I'm no expert but that definitely looks genuine and will be a Gen 1 if it has the lining and non stowable hood

Your right,I have had multiple army dpm,and mtp jackets ,new and grade one, they all leaked,got very heavy when wet,..
Even fabsil was a short term affair..
Bought the Highlander,in dpm,great buy...doesn't leak ,and take on water..

I take it you are buying jackets with a lining Adam?
Army gortex is just a shell, no lining, nothing, they don't get heavy even when knackered, just leak through any holes or damage that they have

I'm into layering scozza,so yes all my previous and current dpm and mtp are single shell ,no lining at all...all genuine ex army ,new or grade one as well...mine come from Bunker,Wadebridge and Moorgoods ,on Bodmin Moor all ,surplus suppliers..
I've had lots of them,I do another outside pursuit other than my angling and they get proper,proper used..all,even the new ones,and those without pockets have all leaked,and hold water, the only one that hasn't thus far is the Highlander dpm copy ,I'd recommend that one..
The only jacket I've had,with a lining is the jack Pyke,I've just sold on here,nice jacket,but with what I get up to ,I'd trash it easily..it was too nice to damage really..
