That's nothing I used it on a very hard UK water guesting and had them all out 64,61,60,57,54,53,50,48,43, and loads of 30,s and 20,s .

Was in a tackle shop where they have them on the counter , and was shown bending the arms back / not snapping . I might be old and want my stuff to look neat , but it's a hideous thing , like tying a ball point pen onto your hooklength 🙄. They sold a fair few , tbh people are curious I think ,rather than desperate enough to use it .

It's something new. People will want to try. It's created a **** storm on social media. And now gone very quite. Ali's work is done.

Be interesting to see if fisheries row back on bans 🤔 , or if owners were trying to look like they had fish care and standards . I know there was a "banned" list going at one point , so would be more interesting to see "allowed" list to see if it's money oriented decisions . Nowhere near me allows it , my syndicate have banned it , but as I was told those fishing it would never lowered themselves to use it anyway . Things may of gone quiet because all the major players have banned and made a stance and have no need to say any more , but I was shocked to see it used at Grenville, who's owner was always held up as someone who was strict on fish care .
Facebook not flooded with catch reports , let's hope that the people who it's aimed out give up with it , or run out of PVA for each cast 😁

The idea that all carp anglers are posting catch reports on Facebook (or any other social media) is for the birds. People are using it. People are catching on it. Just worry about your own fishing and you'll be fine.

The people that this thing is aimed at are a Facebook angling generation hence I thought some of the carp pages would see more traffic , or Ali talking up catches using it 😁. Hoping it just fades away 👍.
My angling is just fine 🙂 , other than after 50 years carp fishing its harder to find somewhere to lay my hat 👍
