Interesting idea, it surprises me that none of the big outdoor pursuit brands haven't latch onto the money Carp angling can bring in. Brands like North face, Patagonia, Adidas Terrex etc. Maybe the moneys not there as much as we think. To small fry. Not the wright image maybe. I for one won't wear any Angling branded outdoor stuff as I know from experience that the performance and quality ain't there with a lot of it...

Sorry went totally of Topic there.. I'd imagine Samir needs sponsorship to help fund what he does. I know recently he has taken on guiding work as well as the content creation side of thing he does.

It looks like after asking various bait to tout there wares for the privilege of there sponsorship. The lucky company seems to be CCMoore.. that's good of them..

I agree , the video could have been framed better , it looks like a game show contest . Should have just explained that he got a sponsorship with cc and was happy with them.

Where is Samirs new video, I can only see the Nash channel stuff.

I watched these back to back.last night and thoroughly enjoyed them and wish I could catch that many carp in a season let alone a month 😂🤣

I like this bloke, his videos are excellent, I've said it on this thread before.... But this announcement video made me a bit sad to be honest, it was an absolute cringe fest.

When you give up life in the UK to make videos in Europe.... You need to be paid if you don't have a couple of million in the bank. So all this about 'touting wares' from various bait firms to study the best bait as you put it is clearly not real. Money talks. You can't have great bait & zero money. Just be honest, or don't make up rubbish to cover that fact or it just makes people who understand cringe.

I'll say it again though, his videos are excellent. I've never watched carp videos, they just don't interest me whatsoever & never have. This blokes stuff is very different and I can watch him.

Don't lose your realness Samir, it's a very big part of your appeal.

I should've been more precise mate.

Historically I've only ever watched Pitchers & his mate on the challenge & MPs own films, and to my knowledge I only remember them using CCM.

I've zero interest in any of the 'other' Fox social/media people who ever they maybe, I saw a 'stilll' of Mozza years ago and though I think in person he's probably a sound guy, the silly gawp put me off.

If rumours are to be believed he was chasing a 6 figure sum owed to him at one stage. You can see why he looked elsewhere if the rumours are true.
