I no it's not on the same level and normally I love my jag kit but I had to buy the new Korda catapult last week after my normal one broke while at the lake and no other option than buy one, I am very impressed with it I actually really like it I just hope it lasts
Bringing this back to life, has anyone got one who can tell us what they think of it now they've used it for a while ?
It says it takes all the weak spots out of where the elastic normally frays/goes through, then I see the elastic rubs on 3 metal rings in the pouch, so does the elastic go here, or above where it slots into the frame, or is it super dooper reliable?

worse catapult in the history of catapults, spend your money elsewhere...good in theory but it's crap

I had the onepult, its terrible. Its near impossible to be accurate with it. The distance isnt that great.
The only reason i liked it was because of how you can change the elastic but it was useless for the purpose of getting bait out on the spot.
I use a Korda one now for close in work (Stick for mid to long distance) and it does job the fine

Still got my Atomic Black Cat Power Pult - brillant bit of kit . . . .I use clipped cable ties at the frame and pouch connections to stop the elastic moving / slipping over time

I've not used the jag 1 but have used many over the years. Currently have a korda one, it's good, up to about 40 yds, I load it with several boilies and grip the pouch to stop the baits falling out, the " finger grip" loop is useless. Unless you want to feed birds and rats on the bank, around your rods.

I've watched this thread with interest as I bought one when they were first released and, as others have said, totally useless and now sitting in my garage with other useless bits of kit.
