I couldn't give a **** what the company is called or if its run by some guy who annoys me onscreen. If that bloody hook bead stays true at 150 with foam it's a touch. I see no other **** "innovated" a slightly longer hook bead in the several years they've been available. The simple ideas are the best imo.

Have you seen the version Jerry hammond uses? It hasn't got a hook bead, it's in one of his recent blog updates I think for trakker or on his Facebook page. I have been meaning to try it!

Could always dab a tiny amount of super glue on the bead if you're particularly worried about it moving, not that I've ever had any issues with a hook bead moving

Yup, could use two beads or dab with glue. Or.... use a longer bead that eliminates the need for either.

I was just going to type the same thing
If it solves the problem (and it can be a problem 120+) of using 2 beads or glue surely a new bead would be a good thing?!
Or just s*** on the idea before it's even released because you would never cast further than 100 yards and don't need it

Exactly. I just don't get the emotional responses and hatred towards AH on here, it's sad to the point of hilarity that so many people are triggered by it.
Who cares if someone starts a company selling items you're not interested in? Wouldn't the sensible thing just be to not waste your energy worrying about it and not even give it a second thought? I can't think of a single reason why you'd be bothered other than jealousy.

was it the clear one? the coloured ones for me dont move at all and this is on hefty casts currently with 18mm wafters
