I wonder if he's ever spoken to anyone about the possibility that he may suffer from emotionally unstable personality disorder. He certainly exhibits a lot of the personality traits.
People with EUPD often
Act in an impulsive manner, without consideration to others.
Engage in acts which might put them at harm, sometimes gambling or being sexually promiscuous
Often have substance or alcohol abuse issues, sometimes in an effort to self medicate
Can exhibit highly Narcissist traits, including feeling they are superior to others and that they would/could be better than anyone else at everything. Often will try to manipulate a conversation to be about them.
Will have periods of Mania lasting several weeks, where they act obsessively and impulsively. Followed by periods of depression including suicidal thoughts.
The sad thing is that people can suffer for years because they just think it's their personality and don't realise that really good help is available to them. Certainly as men we don't talk about mental health issues and that can lead to years of people suffering in silence and going to very dark places.

He does mention adhd and a couple of other things that may be wrong with him in it

I have to say I've changed my opinion of him since listening (not that my opinion of another human being is of any value to anyone other than myself). I always thought he was a bit of a self obsessed prat but since hearing the interview I feel I understand him a bit more. He is the undoubtedly a bit of a narcissist but a fairly self aware one and has obviously battled a few personal demons. Clearly a passionate bloke. At least he's not boring.
I've completely changed my opinion about him. I watched the 1st 30 seconds, thought he was a ***** and told everybody on here and FB.
After watching the whole thing he's just a bloke that speaks his mind and has lived his life to the full. How many can say that? Not many if we are truthful.
Clearly he's done a lot of gear in the past and anybody who has “dabbled” will know what it does to you mentally but also what it brings in that moment. I for one wouldn't change anything about the experiences I've had when being “under the influence”. It makes you the person you are today.
Listen, take from it what you want and move on. He's just a normal bloke living his dream and for that we should applaud him.

That was exactly my finding....once i had got past the few minutes, I found him rather compelling. The only one that I have enjoyed since Regan in fact.

I thought the Oz Holness one was brilliant
After reading this thred when it started, i was unsure what it was going to be like but always listen to them on the long drive to and from work when they come out. I thought it was quite good as he was very honest but also he is up himself, the bit about being the best product developer started to get a bit thin. He could cut out the swearing but guess that is who he is in real life. Did make me laugh about everyone being followers and always copying each other and then you could see how much he looks up to TH. Its worth a listen but he is def marmite.

Certainly plenty of contradictions in what he was saying but always knew what he meant by them. I also thought a lot of it was a front so he didn't give much away about himself or his fishing (which may or may not have been intentional)
Kudos to the interviewer I think he handled it really well and I think a lot about podcast is how the host guides the guests through it all.

think EUPD is a little strong, however we all have traits that can be aligned with a personality disorder of some sort, he came across as a passionate bloke who is enjoying life and fair play to him, he enjoys his lifestyle its not for everyone the same as mine or yours wouldn't be, its difficult for anyone to go on these pods as the whole world want to analyse them and they're putting themselves up for public scrutiny. For me the idea of podcasts are to be entertaining it certainly entertained me and thanks to Korda for doing that., fair play to Nick and all the previous and future guests for putting themselves out there

Took me awhile to get into these tbh but now I've seen most I've been on a podcast mission lol. There's been a lot that I've liked and some I've not but this is definitely at the top for me along with Regans.
