I've been thinking along the same lines. I have more gear than I need and will have to cut down before I retire. Some money from a few sales would help with day to day costs of going. I just hate letting anything go. I'd rather give it to my relatives than sell it.

The rods to cover all my carpfishing:

The problem with this thread is now I want to buy more rods and keep the ones I've got rather than slim down.

We need a new thread with ideas for what else we can sell/do to get the money to buy more...

Good work...get them on a spreadsheet

i have a spreadsheet of everything fishing related i have bought and sold since about 2000 and the added info of stating what line is on what reel/spool

I sold a rucksack and a camera lens to buy a set of rods this week.... Cost neutral so no harm done😂
