To be fair I remember when the tv stuff started Ali was always using fox and shimano way before daiwa etc. which was probably contractual

To be honest I once asked him a genuine question on Twitter years ago and he responded with an unnecessary and sarcastic answer.... never liked him since then!
As for doing a Nash podcast of course he is entitled to do it but t use an analogy I bet he would kiss the badge of each club he played for!
Good luck to him but I won't be lining his pockets.....but I doubt he would lose any sleep over that anyway...

I personally think the new boss is being very prudent with how much cash he's actually willing to risk / invest in products . . .drip feed the market - get a response - ditch it or make more. Low risk strategy. The only current real product 'lines' are the paint splat apparel . . .was expecting more innovation

Not much "innovation" left in the Carp fishing industry, rinse, copy & repeat....plus buy up smaller outfits, (rig safe thing and Rat Bag company) then add a bit of carp tax and release it under your own banner.
Nothing at all to convince me that OMC will be any more successful than TFG.....lead by a "TV Star" bringing out nothing new whatsoever....

I used to wince reading his replies on Twitter, etc. I know he gets some stick but his replies even to genuine questions always came across badly, IMO. For a man whose career is marketing, I felt he could do with some PR training!!

This 100%.....he came across as arrogant, big headed and ignorant of those that were, (in effect) paying his wages.....
Yes he will have is OMC Fanboys of course but I look forward to the day they bring out something truly innovative....think it might be a long wait...

The big establish companies are struggling for new ideas hence the poor items omc have launched can't see it being a good idea people compare Nash fox Korda ect they started from nothing it was a different time
carp fishing was young it was new they had all the ideas in front of them over the years a lot of things have already been done the only way I can see it working if they come up with something special that only they sell but selling rig safes hats and hoodies I can't see it paying off

Overpriced fashion victim clothing yes, but same for all tackle firms.
That box thing is not my bag but it'll serve a purpose for some.
If that new distance hook bead works it'll be fooking great.
The wire bags are class.
The ready tied stuff again isn't my bag but someone will use them 100%.
Other than the standard overpriced clothing it all serves a purpose and with covid slowing launch down there will be plenty more to come I'd expect.

To be honest it's a crap name with mediocre products, it's the fact that he has his name to them means he'll see a few. Hes trying to make out the products are innovative, when in reality its either a plastic box, some red kickers, or a bloody hook bead.
