A really annoying feature of all of this lot is not weighing fish, then holding them up for the camera and saying 'oh, must be 23, 24 pounds'.
Just weigh it then, you muppet. Or don't mention weight.
Bloody irritating modern trend.

I enjoyed the one on Birch the most having fished the place quite a few times, it captures the lake nicely bit of drizzle flat calm water fishing the gaps in the pads waiting for the morning or daytime runs all my favourite memories of the place, I haven't been there for probably 7 to 8 years now lit the fire a little bit.
Enjoyed all of them really it's free content on fishing what's not to like passed a few evenings in a time where my fishing is severely restricted to short day sessions.

Very true, but it's not exactly a new thing, we all do it, and I very much doubt there is an angler out there that has weighed every single fish they've caught.

That's such a weird thing to get annoyed about
I'm the same, I would only weigh something that I think is approaching 20lb and above, not because anything below has any less merit, but because I don't really care if a fish is 12lb, 14lb or 16lb, but to me, a bigger fish is just of some significance; both to myself but to the bailiffs as well I suppose.

Same here. When weight becomes relevant is completely up to the individual. Why anyone would get annoyed about whether some other guy does or does not weigh a fish is beyond me.

I think i know where your coming from?
Is it when a "star" catches a fish that's a stunner and makes a comment that even though it is small, weight is irrelevant, which it is, its a stunning little fish!
Then every sheep shagger in the country comes out with, weight is irrelevant
Was to me as a youth, didn't have any scales
Also, when we have had repeats like we do, i guess weight does become irrelevant unless its a long time between captures and its grown?
Every small fish, yeah, weight is irrelevant, oh, hold on a minute, this one isnt
