To be fair, the Wychwood thing doesn't have half the functionality and it looks pants.
Before you all start going on at me that it doesn't matter how it looks, take a second glance at your rods, rod pods, reels, bite alarms and whatever else and tell me that they're all the cheapest / most functional stuff you can get away with.....
Fact is, there is a gap in the market for this type of all in one tool, that looks good and is well engineered; I bet he sells loads of them.

On another note, in the early days, Pete Castle was involved with OMC doing product design, he said he had a few ideas he had been waiting to get going, but now he doesn't mention OMC anymore and seems to have no connection anymore. Anyone confirm this or know why?

I cant see a gap in the market at all for something like this. The machining of it is crap. He might get the initial handful of fb suck holes buying one then it will fizzle out.

The state of those grubs screws that really is shocking they need to sack quality control ...
It demonstrates a complete lack of understanding / respect for their customers.
Where is the attention to detail, it really is amateurish...and an insult to charge such a premium on an unproven / poorly finished product.
If I want a nice well made multi tool I'll treat my self to a leatherman or a Victorinox which I did 10 years ago.

What else is there that has all of the same bits on it though? I genuinely am not aware of anything. As someone who constantly mislays all the tiny bits and pieces that are critical to a my angling, having something substantial with everything on it definitely makes some appeal; though I agree it seems like a missed opportunity to not have any scissors on it.
As for the machining, he didn't reply to your FB post but someone else made the same comment and he said that the screws are spot on. The pictures are one thing, but the only way to properly judge the engineering is to have one in your hand.

There are many Solid Bags on the market, but we can assure you these have been formulated with some very knowledgeable intel that very few others on this planet have!
And I like Ali but I don't like the aggressive marketing of some of these companies it's like its rammed down your throat all time and their products are the best in the world I don't like that at all(I know it's a selling tactic but not for me)
