Take them apart and check them out mate. The mechanics are dead simple, really good design. You'll see if a spring is bust or something. Quick clean will probs do the job, I've had the same set on for 2 years + without issues and the previous set even longer.

I've used them loads since they came out never had any issues. The 2 mai. Plastic pieces do only go together one way, there's a little lug on one piece that needs to fit into a channel on the other. If you've forced them together the wrong way (180degrees) That may have meant that the spring is compromised (dropped leads) and may also explain why they are breaking (plastic under too much strain)

I arrive at a venue and the brand new Heli safes I have on are split and a bag of *****, first thing I did was show a friend then cut the line and throw them in my bin bag. Did consider emailing korda but that was at the end of the session

I've just bought some of the newer smaller versions Yonny, have you tried these ? The red springs (stronger) seem a good idea but slightly awkward to remove the lead when packing rods away.
I've still got my originals and have performed impeccably and consistently, great design and thought out product 👍
