Not being negative, just don't see 6 months as being long enough to be impressed, I don't however doubt that they will last for a very long time if looked after. The issue with a lot of electrical items that go wrong may be a component failure but how many fail due to a life a abuse is impossible to tell.

Rx+ been around alot longer and people might be fancying a change,the txi-d is no doubt a very good alarm but it's still not without the same old delkim problems.They are alot more compact now though which does make them look alot better imo

I completely agree on the 6 mths comment.
Some types of component fail much more than others..Modern capacitors have improved immensely in the past few years.

I bought Delkim ST's back around 2000, and I'm still using them, twinned with Att receiver and dongles. The only faults have been my own incompetent behaviour, leaving a dead battery in leading to corrosion, or breaking a battery connector lead.
In both cases Delkim repaired the alarm within a week.
If I do get false bleeps from wind and rain, or even this week, hail and sleet hitting the alarm or line, I turn the sensitivity down or put up with it (get out the bivvy when it's hailing down...yeeuch!)
I heard, that the TXI'S had problems for a few years with alarms getting wet, but never had any returned to the tackle shop under guarantee.
I keep looking at new alarms In case mine give up the ghost but that shows no sign of happening.

Seems like opinion is divided on the TXiD , I for one have had problems with water ingress on older Mk1 and Mk2's but even though I am currently using Ntxr's as they do everything that I want an alarm to do and do it well without any issues , I may be tempted to buy a set of the newer Delks if I felt I needed to detect a fart off a carp at 100 hundred yards For the meantime I just don't need any vibration sensing for my carp fishing

Took the plunge on the TXI-D's this weekend after owning Plus's for 6 years. Hope I've made the right decision. Was tempted by the Nash R4's, but the Delk's are over £100 cheaper for 3no and a receiver.
I thought the security features were better on the Delks and nice to have the extra sensitivity on them, plus I think they look and sound nicer than the R4's.
Like the look of the Delkim app 👍

I've had one delkim play up with water ingress, but then again I had a Rx+ play up. Bit surprised how a solely alarm producer can be trumped by a general tackle producers alarm.
Just over 2 years for the new delks and have been fantastic. Only just replaced the battery's.

I have some txi mk1's which have been extremely reliable but thought it might be a good idea to upgrade before problems started to occur . When all said and done these are 20years old and I don't expect them to last forever . I had one small problem with my rx2004 receiver a few years back eating batteries . This was soon rectified by Dalectronics. Never had any issues regarding water ingress on my mk 1's but would never have considered the mk 2's because of the water issues. The only thing I would say about my mk 1's is that you get some interference which obviously you wouldn't get on the new digital platform . I do appreciate that you will always get the odd one that will have issues just like anything no matter what the brand . The new robotic weather proofing has obviously helped greatly if not eliminated completely. The way i'm looking at it is with the warranty being 2/3 years I should easily know within that time whether I have a problem or not and can get it sorted. Oh , and I like the look of the txid's 😉

Looks wise I personally still love nev's, I've mk3 remotes which do all I need and have great battery life. Also got wolf all singing settup as well that replaced rx+s, only changed as I got what I had payed for the rx's back after two years and fancied the idea of the roller and vibration sensing like the old rx digitals that I loved.

Ali hamidi would be the last person I would want to take delkim over, he comes across as a complete clown The last video I saw of him he was in his shower at home with his game changing beanie hat on making a complete tit of himself. Im not quite sure what else you want them to do?! They have just been redesigned and updated already. Its pretty simple if you dont like them buy fox or if you do like them buy delkim, both are excellent.
