Yup mine left yesterday, however postal strikes today and tomorrow so I doubt I will get them until next week which is annoying as I was hoping for nxt day courier as wanted them for tomorrow, nevermind all gd.

Just in case anyone else is interested, British military surplus don't actually have these haix boots in stock and have no way of knowing when or if they will

Recently bought Salomon X ultra shoes but Salomon were bought by Adidas some years ago but then sold on to a Chinese company ,not sure how good they are now and was going to buy the boot version for winter but went for Scarpa instead on black Friday deal.time will tell which are better long term.

I have rang them 4 times in the past week and again today.
I have been promised my ordered was posted on the 24th November, despite me telling them I know of someone placing the same order being told they were out of stock. Maybe I got the last pair? I asked for my money back but they I need to wait for them to arrive...

I have since bought some Fortis elements wellies for once set up and some Haix high liability boots for getting round lake and set up etc. I'm still waiting for them to arrive. Fishing this weekend so will certainly get a good test!

I phoned Sammie today to confirm my cancellation email I sent yesterday and she said she hadn't looked at emails but will sort the cancellation tomorrow. No mention of having found stock.
I went with some winter hiking boots from mountain warehouse while discounted and a further 20% off. Probably not as good but I'll only wear them rarely so not too fussed.
I had looked at the elements but decided I don't really like the wellie type boot style.

I believe the brand is now owned by Berghaus and people say the quality is not the same? Think they were made in Portugal originally or the leather was.
If people are insistent on boots, Scarpa are quality, Miendle too, had some air revolutions for around 10 years before the soles came away. If you want a bargain British army Altbergs can be found on EBay. I bought some custom made ones earlier this, the quality and leather is absolutely superb as is the boot
Winter fishing for me, Baffins, everything else is a compromise, on and off in seconds, super warm and 100% waterproof

Not sure, a while ago now I was in go outdoors looking at them and the bloke who worked there told me Berghaus now own them?
