Today I'm going with a peregrine Harrison 4 piece Avon with a daiwa legalis 4000 and a drennan power carp waggler 13ft with a legalis 3000

Currently a set of Cotswold Rods R1FTs paired with Shimano Ci4 14,000 ultegras.
I am thinking about having the rods rebuilt with 40mm rings, and downsizing the reel as its rare i fish over 100 yards these days and have stopped using Fluro (main reason for the large spooled reels).

So basically I have four different setups for fishing maximum 10 yards out in the pond as I do most of the time no matter how big the water is. Stupid tackle hoarding.

Vic Gibson custom built 12-6 Torrix TE's with Aero Technium 10000 XSB mags which serves my carp and cat fishing needs in most scenarios.
Mess around with an old ABU 12 Foot float rod and Mitchell reel combo and I have a 40 year old Stamford quivver which is great fun too.
