Another way of looking at it is if people keep buying overpriced goods not just fishing they are telling the companies that's fine we are happy you are charging the right price when in fact they are not so I would rather go without

I totally agree,unfortunately some will still pay it.I was very tempted by the new Trakker bed and if it was around £400 I would of probably got one,£550 is taking the absolute piss

If you buy something you think the price is too expensive,how on earth can you feel robbed? Nobody forced you to buy it, you made a choice. If you feel the price for something is too high, don't buy it. Simple

Look if you've run a business for nearly 50 years I'd be spending less time getting wound up prices and more time just fishing 👍🏼

For shops, terminal tackle must make up a massive part of their revenue, surely? It always costs such a lot more than I expect it to - packet of hooks, shrink tube, rig sleeves, some soft braid, tub of hook baits - that's 35 quid + these days, and practically every time I go in I spend something like that (or rather I did, before making a concerted effort not to). It's probably the same kind of money as a top end bed chair or bivvy every year, but instead spent on tiny pieces of metal and rubber that I chuck in the bin eventually. Must be loads like me.

It's very similar to the one I posted in post 2
Lots of interlocking teeth to make a very secure, no slipping angle lock.
The locking knob is more flush so less likely to catch line on it.

The jag ones dont just lock with the lever they have lots of little holes machined into the face on one side and tiny little locating pin machined into the other face so when they locate into each other nothing moves at all. The lever just locks the two faces together. You cant see these bits from the photos which is another reason why they cost what they do.
