As i stated on the other korda rod thread I got a set off someone who has been testing/using them .I was sent them to change all guides some were broke a few bent .Changed for kigans , took them for a fling on the loch .They would make good runner bean supports.

They did do the underwater stuff first. Think that opened a lot of eyes. That first one on horseshoe probably triggered so much in the industry let alone for the individual angler, on the basis that it showed that your rigs aren't as efficient as you think and you need to do more.
Don't see any other companies setting up a not for profit to help with predation either. Albeit not as actively helping others as they were initially.
Disclaimer before I'm branded a fan boy: I don't rate anything korda, think I only own a 18 year old rig box and a krusha which rarely gets used.

Don't know. I never saw any underwater footage before korda released theirs in 2007. Not in that format and made for and available for the masses.

Korda done more for carp fishing?? Don't make me laugh, Korda does what's good for Korda.
Danny Barearse didn't tour Essex lakes flogging leads for his health, he did it for money, everything they do they do for money, when you have enough only then can you give a bit back..........its a great tax break.

Korda have done more for Carp Fishing in the sense that they have helped increase user participation, which in turn drives up prices and greed. Every time you cannot get on a water, waiting lists are 5+ years, or you're paying more than double what a 24hr ticket costed 20 years ago, you have the glorified salesmen to thank for that. Korda are not solely to blame though.
There's also the little known fact he tried to financially destroy someone for drug use accusations then finally admitted himself he uses/used cocaine.

People don't cast anymore ? Really, non of the waters I've fished on the last fourth years allow bait boats and some are now banning bait poles.

They'll sell loads. Any successful company will generate lots of haters, that's just how life is.
What always confuses me more is why people care so much to spend their time trolling and posting about how crap said company is. It's the same with Ali Hamidi, certain people commenting on virtually all his social media posts slagging off his products. Why would it bother someone so much that they actually waste part of their lives getting wound up about someone trying to make a living?

I'm not going to be getting there new rods or new landing net
I can't bring myself to spend £250 on a landing net. I use a ngt net 42inch

I'll be honest I don't see the problem with expensive rods IF they are worth it problem I see here is they are going into the bracket of century, Harrison and free spirit at that price I no I'd most likely have any of them first for now, that's the most important thing “for now” they might end up being brilliant and most people love them only time will tell.
A friend on my syndicate has ordered some so I'm sure I'll see what they are like soon enough, I've ordered some custom aviators which are what I've wanted for a very long time so doubt I'll end up buying any but you never no
