A few mates who've seen mine have subsequently gone out and bought one. As one of them said “it's what the Atom should have been.” Love the shelter, everything about it suits what I do, and they're surprisingly solid when up.

Your right if I sat on bed in atom I had to bow my head and my legs where against the door if using letter box if pouring down I liked the idea but not practical

Just had an email about pre-ordering the new Fox Frontier Lite bivvy, which is 8Kg without a groundsheet. Hardly justifies being called Lite - my Trakker MB Composite is 10Kg all in.

Thanks lads a few to choose from but I think I'm going to go with the Fox Easy Shelter +

Good choice

Those easy shelters look the nuts. Although if it got wet and then got laid on muddy ground to fold it with muddy skirts flapped into the mesh front and inside mine would soon be fuxked. I can't have bivvies for this reason and a brolly will never be bettered for use when it is actually needed... in the wet

My mate has had a new tempest and he's offered me his old one in really good condition with skull cap and sides as well for £150 to me that's a bargin be a fool to turn it down

Trakker Cayman is about 5kg - Proper size bivvy with front and peak and no storm poles to add etc

My AI comes in at 2.7kg 👍.

Don't know how often they come up but super light, quick to go up and fits in a small quiver. Shame no one makes anything like it any more.

Loved my AI shelter, sadly it died a while ago. The tackle box long top is very similar and very light.

Carbon compact with the aluminium poles was less than 3kg is you stripped the doors and peak off.

Think it was the same as M3 compact footprint if they are still for sale.
