Hi.
I have a few stoves the peak1 petrol from Coleman brilliant never misses a beat. Just keep the washer oiled I just put a bit of spray light on it. Never had issues with generator I always give it a little tap with a teaspoon. Before and after use. If I did is strip it down and soak in coke or bicarb. My other one I'm using now is the bulin t4 which I got off Amazon for 24 quid. Very good stove and powerful as well.

there really is only 2 options, coleman or primus IMO.
maybe MSR if you're feeling extravagant
i use a coleman all year round. why just wait til winter for a kettle to boil double quick, enjoy the benefits all year round haha!

Not sure what model primus mine is but it's thirty + years old and still works fine.

Yep my Primus original Gravity must be about that age too !
and apart from the piezo igniter being a bit temperamental now its been totally faultless in all those years you truly do get what you pay for with top quality Primus stoves
not sure how many Bulin stoves you would get thru in 30 plus years but I am quite certain the Primus would be far cheaper

For the owners of the bulin t4, should the legs be tight to put into place when opening out ? .as I've just received mine and they seem really loose.

Mine tend to flop about a bit and they have locking mechanism to keep them out or in, not much of an issue for me.

I wouldn't say my legs fold out solidly, they are quite easy to move back inwards as they don't ‘lock' out. However It has never caused me any issues and the cooker is very stable. Just check the legs before you place anything on top!

Ive had a primus omni fuel stove for over 20 years and its never let me down once, probably the most reliable thing ive ever bought.

Goose, that's a Primus Himalaya i believe. i have the same one! recently lent it to someone and that melted the ignitor :( (handed back to me in its bag without telling me as well...)

Ive had the same stove for somewhere in the region of 25 years, its had literally zero maintenance in that time and still works fine, the piezo electric lighter disappeared about 10 years ago in some forgotten incident but thats user error really. Wouldnt hesitate to buy another and quite surprised that the price is still within my limit. One of my better buys over the years.
