Only problem I have ever had with Terminal tackle from these guys is I find the lead clips discharge the lead too easily.

Have bought plenty of anti tangle sleeves, swivels, zig stuff, etc from Bank and always very decent quality for the price you pay.

Used their gear for last few years no issues with any of the quality

for years I I have used loads of his gear never EVER had a problem with any of it
if you want to believe paying double for the same thing in a fancy packet makes it better quality thats up to you

Been using the swivels, lead clips for quite a while not a problem
Did have a hook straighten out but I was fishing in dense weed so could happen with any hook. 👍

Not so sure it's the same person running this little company as originally, once it got above the VAT threshold it changed hands ?

Used the micro swivels and sleeves for years. .good value gear. No doubt it comes from the same factory as the big name gear does.

I've been buying from BT for quite a few years now, the service is always excellent and the items are always up to my standard. Some of the hooks get some grief because the points go over, but those saying that fail to mention the ultra sharp, utra thin points, so it's par for the course! Some of the metal ware might not have the same 'finish' as your used to from named manufatcurers but I don't think the fish care too much.

What pattern of bank hooks have the "ultra sharp ultra thin" points? The curve shank ones I used were far from either of those

I've used Bank Tackle for my Ronnie swivels and bait screws and they have been perfectly fine and done the job. Always been picky about my hooks and have only used Korda Kaptor hooks and when the Kamakura hooks came out swapped to them with no issues. Was tinkering with a new rig and needed some longshanks so took a gamble on some from Bank in a sale. Was really impressed with them and were super sharp and kept their points for a couple of fish before I changed them. I've now bought some of their wide gapes and again I can't fault them for sharpness and durability. Of course they are not as sharpe as they could be if you are into hand honing your hooks, but the trade off is the durability probably won't be as good. For me they are perfectly suitable straight out of the packet

It matters to me if the finish on the swivels is so rough they don't swivel. Otherwise I'd just tie a knot. The long shank hooks I bought had neither thin or sharp points. They were rubbish.

The packet. Take one of their matte finished size 8 QC swivels, hold the eye and swivel under a bit of pressure pulling from each end. They grind together. Do the same with an ESP swivel and it's smooth.

Might have been a bad batch, might not bother some people, but I chucked them out.

I wonder if all the people who moan about line twist also use cheap swivels?

Could be a link to the line twist,im defo going check mine out but I mainly use their micro hook rings and bait screws but do use the spinner swivels and never noticed any issues

I've used a few bits and pieces.
Wide gapes and curve shanks. - No problems with them.
Swivels, Spinner Swivels and QC Ring swivels - No problems.
Tungsten tubing and sinkers - Tubing didn't seem to sink that well and the sinkers were awful (IMO)
Bait Screws, Hook stops and Tail Rubbers - No problem with these. I have used and will still use these.

I do think you get what you pay for though.
I won a load of Thinking Anglers terminal tackle a while ago and you can see the notable difference when it came to the swivels that's for sure.

I think Bank Tackle and other 'cheaper' companies have their place in the market. Can't help thinking they come from the same place though (aliexpress?)
