Chub, Greys and JRC are still about but a real shadow of their former selves. I went in the hardy greys (pure fishing) HQ last year and the JRC and Chub stuff is awful generic chinese stuff. JRC used to be absolute quality.

Chub, Vision and Venture all been mentioned. Throw in the brand from many of our childhoods, Kingfisher, the classic Argos kit. In a similar vein is Kennet still around?

Does anyone remember the Nu-brolli conversion kit, and the sun lounger adjustable leg kits? Think they were Preston innovations? Also Golden Marlin bulk mono from the advert in the back of the AT!!

Venture carp produced some great bivvies in the short time they were around , the razorback was a brilliant concept.
Tails up 20 years ago when they made proper warm sleeping bags.
Shame they switched the insulation material to cotton wool in the later models.
