I know I don't live in England but I will still be going fishing no matter what for my mental well being
I honestly cannot wait until some goes to court for going fishing on their own in the open air , my guess it will get thrown out as it is only guidance and not against the law

The PM said tonight the announcement will be enacted into law tomorrow by Parliament and police will have the power to enforce lockdown. So yes you will get prosecuted.

Fishing on your own in the open air is not the problem. Getting there would be though.
Risks would be accident, breakdown, refilling at a petrol station, navigating any gates to your swim and probably conversations at the lake.
All these things and many others could be avoided and if everyone considered them then perhaps we wouldn't be in the mess we are now.

A lot of fisheries have now closed, tbh its simple just stay at home don't see the big deal. Some people just look for a excuse to do what they want and that's what has got us in this position

You could equally refute all of that if you're just going to work and can't work from home which is why I think that argument is moot on the whole.
