My mum's 80 doesn't like fishing but enjoys their show. Who in their right mind wouldn't. Two very funny guys bouncing off each other as a double act, with genuine affection. Touch of Eric and Ernie I think.

I've so enjoyed watching these two, not so much for the angling, just for the leg pulling and fooling about being silly.

Never did I think a programme like this would capture the essence of fishing so well. Mates, enjoying the great British countryside, having a laugh and appreciating the small things. The odd fish that's nothing more than a bonus. Perfect

For me it's the best fishing programme since passion for angling

Oh now that was brilliant. I used to run home from primary school at lunchtime in the hope he'd be fishing.
For some strange reason I recollect him using a Zebco closed faced reel in at least one episode.

nice position to be in mate. all on iplayer for xmas. I enjoyed this one but you could say there have been funnier episodes. so enjoy

I really enjoyed it,seeing where Bob grew up and the gift he gave Paul was nice too

Really enjoyed it, love the relaxed pace, bit like Passion For Angling 🙂
