The problem I have found is that each supplier has a very successful flavour, but that does not mean all of their flavours are good. Take Richworth tutti frutti a great flavour, that does not mean all tutti frutti flavours are good or that all Richworth flavours are good.
You are getting a lot of good advice on here as to what people have been successful with, but if anybody says a particular range are all good then I can assure you that they have never tried them all.
Stick with the classics, JB plum and ala salar, richworth tutti, nutrabaits cranberry and cream cajouser, Nash scopex and SSA, mainline pineapple. Use them in combination for an personal aroma if you want. All of these will catch you loads of fish.
Once you have have some confidence in these you can start experimenting with less well know flavours but be prepared for some disappointments.
Finally my own tip... Iso eugenol... But keep it quiet

I notice you've mentioned minamino a couple of times. Don't suppose you know where its available do you, and I don't mean the stuff with added carp tax that's not stored correctly. I used to get it direct from Ayrton S' but can no longer get it. Cheers for any info, no worries if not.

I used to have a few favourite combinations, but as has been said, not every flavour from one supplier is brilliant, so I had a few brands in the cupboard.

Nutrabaits Pineapple Nutrafruit and Cinnamon EO.
Liver Elite and Sweet Cajouser. Doesn't sound right, but worked well on Trigga.
Pineapple and N-butyric acid, obviously.
Cherry Elite and Eucalyptus Oil.

Rod Hutchinson Megaspice with Garlic Oil. I use Verselle Laga Garlic oil.

The original Rod Hutchinson Scopex with Black Pepper Oil.

As for Iso-eugenol, an extract of cloves, you don't want to know about that...😉😆 but try it with plum...

Unfortunately not mate, my 500ml bottle came from Trent Baits, I couldn't find it away from fishing bait suppliers. It's good though

Dry them out, leave them somewhere for a week and they will be fine. One thing I will say is I applaud your enthusiasm for bait making but my personal experience was that my pop ups never looked or smelled the same as shop brought. In fact it was an expensive experiment. Bear in mind how many pop ups are actually used.
