Looks to me like a hobbyist.
Unless they get some serious cash behind them and the ergonomics of the product improved I can't see them making a dent on what has become a crowded market.

Stylus made from stainless steel, no doubt it will be robust but line running against steel 304 or 316?, I'm out...
Doesn't look like they made much of an impression as a few lads were at the show according to the Brentwood thread but no feedback on these.

Bite alarms were originally made by hobbyist Dick Walker and many - no most of the improvements over the years have come from hobbyists of one sort or another. But find a niche in a market where £120 will get you a reliable set of three plus a good sounder right up to the named whistle and bell outfits, that's where the problem lies.
Maybe, just maybe the Byte will blow us away....... maybe.

I didn't mate. Im not at all in the market for new alarms and tbh the stall was less than welcoming.

I'm not surprised a small scale start up that has not even sold a single product yet didn't spend a lot of money on a fancy stall and pay the premium for a 'hot' stall location at a big show. Looking at other show exhibitors lists it doesn't look like they are at any others either.
Hopefully more info on social media coming soon and opportunity for people to view the in the flesh and see what they are about

These had completely passed me by. So I just looked up their Facebook page. They look awful. So cluttered. Zig zags and lines all over them. All the dials and leds shoved over one side. A right mishmash of styles. Way too many buttons crammed together. In fact way too many buttons full stop. And why are the screws silver/stainless? Most manufacturers try to hide the fixings holding stuff together?
They make the nonsense buttons of the txi-d look minimalist.
