Thinking Anglers spare leadcore splicing needles.
Ive broke the others but not these.

Another esp vote from me last me ages

forever breaking the ESP one - hamfisted - have recently got a hold of some TA ones - first impressions are good - thicker gauge for starters so should last a bit longer.

Another for the Fox Easy Splice needle. Was using a cut down pole elastic threader for many years before that. The leadcore outer breaks before the wire does!

esp for me but I like to have a few in stock as still easy to break

As a rule I am Korda man, but their splicing needles break if you stare at them too hard let alone have them near leadcore

I use the ridgemonkey braid scissors and a clean cut means I no longer break even cheap splicing needles

Since using the needle knot variation (terry hearn youtube video) i no longer need to splice.
Works with lead core or lead free. You just need to heat seal the end to prevent fraying.
