I really enjoy the carp cast but I just wish Jamie would mention more about how good Slovenia is, and he never updates us on how many 60's he's had.
And having heard numerous times the stories of how Nashy invented everything its not gonna be a great loss to the podcast.

i like the long awkward silences between him and mark.. i sometimes have to make sure its still playing on my phone.
I also never knew jamie had caught a carp called the lady untill he mentioned it in every episode.

well I seen this pop up saying it was back,its not back its just Jamie's skint and needs a way to generate some income, everything is money orientated and he's always looking at a way for making money,this time vip carp holidays has been paetly bought out and now looking to expand so he's advertising that, he's also thinking of putting a carp show on in the warmer months so was banding that idea round. he's that skint he's even pimped his dog out after seeing what price puppies are selling for since lockdown (ffs whatever next).
they might have been the first ever carp fishing podcast but its by far the worst one out there now in my opinion and there's plenty of better content out there now

For what it's worth I really like it.
The one thing that boils my p%@s with most podcasts especially the long ones is when they go off on massive tangents and forget to finish or even go back to what they started with.
There was one time where he was talking about the Korda boys when filming MC out in Slovenia and it sounded like a bit of juicy gossip...... only to switch the story and never come back to it.🤬🤬🤬🤬

I'm still a fan and glad it's back. Plenty of choice now for those that don't like it, don't have to listen. Jamie might be a a bit of a nob but he does have an interesting and knowledgeable take on angling, and IMO importantly, the historic captures to back it up. Carp cast also easily had the best list of guests from the beginning, hopefully they can keep that up.
Glad its back and I hope it stays that way. For those saying Jaimie is only bringing it back for the money. Then who can Blame him. It's been a **** few months for a lot of small businesses. Hes had his revenue streams taken away from him with his Angling show and holiday buisness. Hope it works out for him.

I listen to the carp cast whilst walking or running. Find it easy to listen too and they cover some good stuff. Content on all these platforms is similar but it's all down to who is being Interviewed

Loved it in its early days, was excited when they said they where arranging a social but that wained when said 'social' turned out to be £250 tutorial weekend. That seemed to signal the start of the whole money making aspect.
I get the need to make a buck or two but they way they are going about it is wrong imo. It's become too obvious and for me has really soured it. Heapy Bob was also a massive brown nose and I hated the way he over managed their FB page. He was very precious.
All being said it's the original and for a while was the best. Second only to the Korda one now imo. Jamie and Mark have a natural charisma and work well together. I find them interesting even when they are talking about non carp or fishing related stuff.
Hopefully it can get back to its best

I don't get why they were away for so long then released Episode 100 when the information provided was eight months out of date. Turned if off after the needless soundbites like "ooo shots fired".
It's just poorly executed. Yes, there is probably a space for a podcast which focuses on the day to day stuff, however it needs to be put out in a different manner, preferably without the red top gossip and the underhand monetisation which ruined it in the first place.
Fact is, there around half a dozen that have come out since, all of which the production value and content are far better.
