It's not just Jim Shelly who is miles from his rods.
It's common on tou tube vids for them to film the run to the rods. In no particular order Tom dove .. carl and Alex . Alan Blair to name a few at the top of my head.
I think the need for content is putting the fish welfare in second place.

Mate , there was loads of "professional" anglers fishing through lock down. Stating its there livelyhood etc... I think its sad that people do things like that. But just crack on doing your own thing and enjoy your fishing, ..

The diagnosis of much younger folks far more common.

We mention this further down the thread, myself especially.
Since I think around 2000, maybe a little earlier, children tend to be diagnosed within the Autistic Spectrum whereas people like myself were, not ignored, but not tested, or the ASD was not obvious. It was only those who were obviously showing learning difficulties that any differences were picked up on.
My Aspbergers was not recognised until I was 45, and that was after being stabbed with a needle at work by a drug user and the PTSD it brought on. Counselling and testing showed 'something up'.
It is quite possible that ancient figures in history were within the spectrum, MichelAngelo, Isaac Newton, quite probably having Aspbergers Syndrome.

I'd go to the next swim maybe 10yards away for a brief chat. With my receiver with me. If I was going for a walk round the lake or to the car for provisions. I'd definitely reel in. Some people take the piss and should be banned.

I think the suggestion of ASD without a professional diagnosis isn't cricket really.
