I haven't lost my money, the sindycate is still there, I'm still a member and free to go soon as the government say its OK. One thing I will say though, I am positive nobody will ask for a refund or parcial refund, they will renew next year and for as long as they are physically capable.

I get you, I do. I'm lucky I work from home so have been able to stay isolated a lot more than a lot of people can, and only go out for essential shopping.
When I read through this thread there are some great messages, but it won't all appeal to everyone. For example, there are a lot of young anglers out there, teenagers in general don't respond well to the bullying pack mentality of an older generation telling them to do as they're told. Often it has the opposite effect.
Some people will have the resolve and support not to go out for anything except food for 6 months, but not many. Luckily they're are lots on here. They're not going to get in the car to go fishing, nor are they going to pop for a non-essential shop because their family is losing their s**t and everyone needs a chocolate /sweet pick me up.
They're also not going to increase the demand for other people to travel around, by ordering stuff from amazon to keep them and their family occupied while couped up at home.
I do believe there is some room for maintaining one's sanity and being better able to remain strong for those around us. If the areas you might go to are busy then obviously they should be avoided. If the guy earlier wants to walk 10 minutes to his local river and sees no-one along the way he's had his mental boost with less risk than someone going to the co-op for a chocolate bar or meeting one friend at a time for a walk. The same could be said for a syndicate lake where people are 30 yards away from each other

Yes mate defo see what your saying on all counts. Just think its time for everyone to do the biz and help keep the deaths down by trying to take tbe advice we are being giving. Think seeing a few of our leading lights condoning poaching and going fishing has annoyed me although in the main anglers are conforming. Mental health defo an issue with out a doubt because even thoughs who have no issues are going up the wall let alone those of us that do! Lol good luck and stay sane m8!

People have had two weeks of continuous requests and reminders to be sensible, compassionate and responsible and a considerable number in all age groups have rejected this. These are the self centred, swaggering, bullying, know it all of all generations. People who are so soft and spoiled that they don't believe the world is a real place with real consequences.
