Morning,
what are your fav Batteries for Alarms etc ?
Recently had some leak-proof Energizer ultimate lithium AA but one ruined my Rx plus, so looking for some advice

Always used duracell ultra and only had one leak in 30 years and that was a duracell aaa in a petzl head torch.

Do you mind me asking how a lithium battery ruined your RX?

Been using these for many years without an issue.

Sounds more like the alarm being an issue not the battery

leaked Battery, Alarm doesn't work anymore.
Now im looking to get a replacment

procell (industrial duracell) or GP Greencell are decent

Always used Duracell, never had any problems, just habit now.

Duracell batteries for me.

Procell / Duracell same company.

Lithiums are not good if left stored for a long time else they can damage the item they are in.
Best if storing for a length of time only have 50% charge.
Alkalines will leak if left in products unused and are stored unused for months.

I've never had a problem with storing 9V non rechargeable Lithium batteries.
I've used them In smoke alarms and they last10 years.
They work great in my RX Digital alarms and receiver

I'm not familiar with the RX+, it sounds like they use AA batteries.
Maybe some loose battery connectors coupled with moisture could cause problems.

Duracell for me as well - I am sure they used to have a guarantee that they would never leak,
