The sentences they received are a disgrace,if you take a life you should receive life or even better bring back the death penalty.The three scumbags should never be part of society again

This is every solo anglers worst nightmare fishing public areas; middle aged man vs three brainwashed lads - he should have clocked them on arrival and fished elsewhere or scarpered at the first sense of aggro; easier said than done I'm sure as they made him feel comfortable before sucker punching him etc
Lord of the flies mentality - kids and knives with zero sense of responsibility in their actions and no respect for anyone even themselves; you can blame their parents / society / whoever but I fear its getting worse and on that basis they should be jailed indefinitely or at least up to an age where it becomes impossible for them to harm others ever again . . .

I'm on the canal now and although it's quiet I did have a guy walk past yesterday then today and this time was asking for a fag said I do t smoke(I don't anyway)but I'll keep my hammer handy just in case but never had any trouble here before,not like the town centre stretch where I saw fights from opposite side and people being cocky especially teenagers but never got guts to come round,best thing......be polite or just ignore

Don't think a monkey fist / hammer is going to help in a 3 vs 1 when the assailants have knives and in a compromised woodland space next to a deep river; even the most adept at unarmed combat wouldn't stand a chance . . .might get a few cursory blows in but that's about it; three pure knockouts with zero return damage in the process - very doubtful
