I was going to say Fordwich, but couldn't decide who with. I keep hinting to Oz to do a vid there, but i think the fish kill has knocked that one on the head.

On the canal near my home with my best mate where like your friend gave up fishing many years ago but fortunately we are still best mates,and there used to be some 30lb carp in that stretch we used to fish.
Forgot to add we done many nights up canal hunting carp even wagging school and spending our time up there,also many nights in summer over at Sutton park fishing for tench and bream in the summer start of the original fishing season and being battered by midges,sitting on our Shakespeare boxes watching quiver tips with starlights in the end,then when it warmed up in morning wade out and fish the whip for roach and perch

An old friend called Ian Martin that I lost touch with many years ago and on absolutely any venue, it really wouldn't make any difference.

I cant do just one person, I'd like to fish the Redmire of the 80/90's with Chris Yates and my mate Bruce.
As much as Redmire is the place of history of carp fishing, it doesn't interest me like it used to.
Bruce and I used to bounce ideas off each other, friendly competition always between us. He'd frequently get more fish than me, but somehow I would catch bigger fish, and there was no reason behind it as rigs and bait we would share.
Sadly since the London Bombings we rarely fish together much now, although we are in the same syndicate.
He has recovered, but has a family life which I no longer do, and our times rarely match.
As for with Chris Yates, do you need any explanation?

Had a fantastic time at redmire with Len arberry some years ago and with hutchy on his syndicate water but if i could it would be with my dad anywhere.
