I'd like to store pre-tied heli and lead clip leaders somehow ... any ideas apart from the korda leader safe which i find a bit pants ?

good shout thanks - would rather have a single long cylinder like that rather than lots of separates but couldnt really see anything on ebay

I use a Spro rig wallet. Works well and doesn't take up much space.

if lead core just fold them on themselves until small then twist them and they stay together, then just keep them in a small lead and leader pouch

I use the EVA spools and keep them in a Fisheagle line tidy, about 8 spools, but for what you want its all to bulky using this method, even just the EVA spools on their own. This storage method is better for zigs etc.
This is the line tidy I use also ideal for keeping rig making line spools in such as Amnesia and stiff rig nylon etc.

There are two ways that I keep my leaders, the simplest is to use a matchmans hook wallet and just coil the leader up and store it in a plastic sleeve, the wallet holds 10 plastic sleeves and you can get more than one leader in a sleeve if need be.. There is some on Ebay, but they are bigger than what I use. The ones that I use you used to get off angling papers as a free gift or in a tackleshop, but they seem to have become a rarity, probably because plastic rig boxs have took over. This method is the way that I store spare leaders.
My main way is to use a long 8 compartment plastic box. But, I also have a lead attached to the leader as well and on occasions have the rig with hook also attached to the leader Each compartment will hold about 3 "Ready to go leaders" depending on lead size, with it coiled up next to the attached lead. This is my preferred way as if I get a leader damaged whilst playing a fish, crack off on a cast etc, all snottied up and tangled because of I caught an eel etc, especially on a night, I can just cut off the leader and tie on a new one, attach the rig if need be, and do not have to worry about having to find a lead and attach it. I am back fishing in no time.
Usually I have 3 inlines, 3 helicopter, 3 lead clip rigs all ready to go at the minimum in the box with lead attached.
And as you can store a good few rigs this way, it does away with having to carry leads separate in a lead pouch.

I use a rig wallet with plastic sleeves in . I think it was designed for fly anglers for there leaders . It was cheap and takes up no space
