Anyone noticed (think Spooner) using a rod badged with Kaptor in one of his blogs?

Plenty of people using the prototypes mate think that was one of the reasons bringing Terry Edmonds on board

It was only a matter of time. They will enter every possible area where they can make a profit. Ok if what they put out is of the quality required. It called Korda developments for a reason. Only way is up. Hopefully.

Be interesting to see the bivvy

The top end Daiwa blanks have always had an excellent reputation, it'll be interesting to see if Korda can emulate that.

I assume they are in the game long enough to get their hands on similar blanks.
Is just a matter of what profit they are aiming for and how they will reach it.: (1) setting consumer prices high or (2) save on raw materials and production cost.

Can't see them saving on raw materials unless buying inferior, manufacturing could save a lot buy going over seas as infinity's are made in Scotland.

they have their Guru rods made by Daiwa so dont see any reason why the same cant be done with the carp rods.

In the solid bag carp fishing Rob Burgess korda video he used 2 of the prototypes more through action looked same as the Kaptor and one fast taper - the 'higher end' fast taper rod looks like a blank Daiwa had out a few years ago in the euro market 'Shogun' which was rammed with all the techy bits.
