Stupid, stupid me. I bought a baiting pole from a guy on ebay. Just shocking! Dreadfully engineered, illfitting,bent and heavy. I went for my money back and the bloke turned out to be using a false name and wouldn't give his address for a return. I'm now thinking of how I can use 15m of screwfix conduit pipe around the home. Beware the Stoke on Trent bait pole industry....

Maybe leave feedback on eBay, it might help others avoid if it's that bad...

Click on your order details for the item when you purchased it and you'll see "return this item" click on that and say it's not as described and faulty. This will open a case for you to return it for a refund but make sure you send it recorded delivery as the last thing you want is the guy saying he never received it. Make sure you enter in the tracking number through ebay so they know it's been delivered. Good luck.
Was this made to the same design as the recent thread on here. Black plastic piping screw thread connectors and expandable foam? Was it sold as that?

It looks a lot like the way the prodding sticks were being made as I did the same recently. Fine going up and down vertically but them connectors are not very good taking weight horizontally.
I like the way the advert states, "we do not use 20mm conduit, we use 25mm high impact blah blah blah"
So you use 25mm conduit then!

Pretty sure you can't make a claim on e Bay unless the item delivered is not as described, if its described as being made of conduit then not sure you have a case.

yes but user needs to get used to using it it even says so on the advert
