So if and it's a big of my venue opens up this week. We are not allowed to use the lake supplied slings due to transmission between fisherman so need my own. What's the best out there? Was looking at the esp or trakker but any other suggestions / recommendations?

I own both they are very good,for me I like the esp one more.It feels better made and seems to dry even quicker that the trakker one

I have the chub eazi floatation sling in large and it's a brilliant bit of kit but a bit oversized for anything less than 20lb

Is it a lake rule? I've never found the need for a retention sling.

Not a lake rule, however not being with 2 meters of someone else is so just want somewhere for the fish to rest while I get the camera etc set up save asking anyone. Margins are a bit shallow to leave in the net.

Cotswold Aquarius. 
I have the ESP and the fox flotation sling (the name escapes me, STR?). Personally I prefer the fox, lighter and seems to balance better with a fish inside.

I have a fox STR as well.. love it and never had a problem.
Word of caution thought - the day I bought mine my mate bought one at same time as me in prep for a france trip - first fish he had in it and it split all down one side on the stitching

Sorry to drag this up but been looking on Johnson Ross for a new flotation retention sling and torn between the Nash (on offer), Trakker v2 and esp.
I need a large sling as the fish to go about 45lb where I fish, and I want it for France too.
I'm leaning towards the ESP but like the full length floats on the Nash.
Anyone have the Mash or any extra points to consider?

I have the Nash and seems decent enough. Zips still work, dries quick etc. I prefer full length floats also.
First one had to go back to shop because a section of stitching was faulty but no problem getting an exchange and new one has been fine for ages.

I've have the XL aqua floating apart from the aluminium arms that are slightly bent but hardly noticable cant fault it and dries quickly I had the trakker one before that seem to take a long time to dry but apart from that was another very good one

On our lake they supply the slings, nets and cradles
The ones used are the fox
We have had them on the lake for 2 years and I can not recommend them highly enough
They are light and well made
I Personally have 2 trakker ones and one is the xl X had both before the lake went to supplying them
Both well made but heavy and take an age to dry
If I needed to buy another one it would definitely be the fox ones
Our lake currently still Only allow us to use theirs but dip and dry them all Before and after use. They have enough to allow for drying out between usage

My findings also, if I'd have known before I ordered the aqua. That it didn't fully zip up I'd probably have gave it a swerve. Not that I've had anything escape.
