Looking for a decent waterproof jacket and trousers. Seen korda dry core, fortis trail, esp 10k. There are all similar in lools and price. Is there any better out there or better value for money? Thanks.

For carp fishing (and this goes against my own soul / ethos for carp taxed clobber in general) the Korda Dry Kore is actually pretty good IMO. . .
I have the Mk1 variants which you can now pick up for a good price and they're lightweight, packable, comfortable, stretchy and relatively breathable . . .they also have a decent cinchable hood. They do eventually wet out quicker than more expensive (or recon army) goretex but I've just treated mine with Diver Daves Repel so will be bullet proof for another season . . .

Yep exactly what I use for both fishing and work for the last few years and their a decent quality waterproof set buy them you won’t be disappointed

on gerrys recommendation this is ehat I bought and theure absolutely spot, cant fault them in any way

Out of interest how do you find these in use, walking round, pushing barrow etc, do they get a lot of condensation inside?
I know they're not the same money as Drykore but it says they have a breathability of 2000mvp which is very low compared to say the Drykore at 20000, hence the Q 👍

I have the Trakker TechPro waterproof jacket. It's really good and if you like the Trakker camo pattern then it looks the business I think. At full price it's a bit steep, but you can get it for around £80 and I don't think it's bad value at that price. Lots of pockets, practically designed and does its job...
There are matching trousers too but I never bothered with those personally.

I use these for dog walking. Completely waterproof & I don't get sweaty in them, but I can imagine if you are the type of person who gets a sweat on with a bit of exercise, they would not be for you.

The Korda jacket had me sweating like a pig, the breathability is shocking.
As others have said, an ex-army DPM is very good, and reasonably cheap. If you want a Carp label then there's nothing that comes close to the Fortis Marine, although the Nash range is very good as well.
