I asked fox about this once and I'm sure they said the shut off is around 9 mins so that's plenty of time to do what we need.

Happened to my reel. Took it to the tackle box and okuma supplied the part for free, fitted f.o.c and it's been fine ever since.

Fox do a welded mat that you can use flat or with sides.

I have a set of the 9000 digitals and I emailed Reuben heaton about the tare function.
This was their reply "The tare will hold until the scale auto-offs. This should be around 7 minutes"

Definitely a medium. I'm a 44" chest as well and the medium is snug on me with just a t-shirt.

I'm a 44" chest and a large fits me with room for a layer underneath. The medium is a bit snug even with just a t shirt.

I'm out there now. The trees are a bit of a shock but they needed to be done for safety. Its not as bad as people are making out.
