I don't suppose anybody know of any rumours or dates that Fox may be releasing a new high end alarm?
Just wondering as I need some new alarms, didn't want to buy a set then they release a new set.

Obviously the delks are much newer so debating on the fox as they have been released for 8 years.

It's generally a good idea to give the first batch of a new product a wide berth anyway.

I was in the same position earlier this year and just bought the rx anyway as got sick of waiting. I went from delk d's and much prefer the rx over my delks as they are so simple to use. I never liked the look of the rx in photos but they look much better in the flesh and feel a much more premium alarm as find delks feel a bit cheap. Ive only every played with the rx in the house mind as dont fish anymore so cant comment on them in a fishing situation.
With the damage fox suffered financially due to the Chinese knockoffs I think it will be quite some time before they bring a new model out and if they did they would probably look at manufacturing in Europe to hopefully protect their IP better.
Or just wait for the Chinese upgrade which I'm sure is in the works and will appear in Temu and other outlets.

They suffered no loss to the Chinese knockoffs,they were nothing like the rx+ internally.The company that own Fox now are huge and will not be worried by a couple of lookalike sets of alarms being sold.

Loads of folk went and bought the copies many on here, I would say worldwide they been good sellers.

As a private company fox doesn't disclose revenues but it certainly put a dent in the sales of the RX brand.
There focus seems to have shifted on putting more tech into lesser alarms in the range to try and make them more difficult to copy.
The majority of consumer electronic products are still made in China, which isn't a bad thing as we want competitive prices.
Its more about how close companies are to their supply chain to protect against this happening,

There's no comparison in my book, just that they're seen as top end, ones roller, the other is vibration and far more sensitive. I sold my RX+ and bought Wolf Qi's, best of both worlds and in my mind with a 4 year warranty on the Qis, Fox might have reverted to a Roller/Vibe combo in the meantime, and that'd be my choice.
I should never have sold my RX back when Fox launched the NTXR, that alarm was a backward step and so is the RX+, but I got caught up in the hype

I did mate, only been out on 3 short day sessions so far, so I'm not completely used to them. I did have a issue with the receiver latching light on 1 channel flashing erratically on indication on session 2, but a reset sorted it. Also wasn't sure if the receiver was updating the alarm re line amount setting, I was getting wind bleeps, turned the dial on the alarm, that sorted it. As i say, early days

I wouldnt of thought the fake alarms would of made any dent in foxes profits as the type pf people who will pay top dollar the flagship alarm wouldnt entertain a cheap copy of it to sit their mgs techs and hi s on and they would buy the original regardless of cost as carp fishing is more of a fashion statement these days. A set of top end rx+ alarms is pretty cheap when you compare it to 3 hi s rods and mgs reels.
Incase anyone is remotely interested. I have photos of fake rx and real ones side by with the differences between the two from someone who specialises in electronic components. He posted his findings on them on fb on the bite alarms group im in. The fakes are nothing like the originals and use no branded components which the the fox alarms use. The only good part he said were the cases which were as good as the fox but the rest was made from inferior none branded components with zero waterproofing. The MCUs allow for programming, other sensor inputs be it push button or bite detection through a range of ICs including battery management.
I've worked in the electronics components market for nearly 30 years now
At the end of the day these are not sophisticated products and it doesn't take much to reverse engineer.
I'm sure if they spent more money they could easily build to industry leading requirements.
