does anyone use cars like Ford KA Yaris ect.
can you get a set of rods in across the rear and a bed chair with the seat down
a sign of the times that myself and im sure others are having to look at the cheapest and smallest cars to get about.

I've done it a Clio. Backseat down, the rod holdall running central to the car with the bottom of the holdall near to where the hatchback door lock is, the top of the holdall running between the driver and front passenger seat above the handbrake.
The rest of the gear including bedchair fitted in ok, don't forget to use the foot wells.

Maybe look at some 10ft retractables so you can put them behind drivers/passengers seats? Thats what i do with my scopes.

If you're going in the car alone then you could try reclining the front passenger seat down and put the rods in from front footwell back towards boot

used to do it in a 90s nissan micra
assume KA and stuff are about the same size ish

a clio is a bit bigger

I have a fiesta MK4 and get rods bed chair rods and barrow plus tackle bag

Done it for years in a Renault 5 and Renault Clio.

Take took parcel shelf out and stand bedchair upright in the boot.

Slide front passenger seat back and rods in from foot well.

Did france trips in a starlet with full sized rods:XD But you should look at which cars have the best options regarding folding chairs/backseat, i've found out that they tend to leave that out for smaller cars. For instance, modus, absolutely perfect for fishing, captur totally worthless, can't fold anything there.

Many years ago I used a Metro and put the rod holdall on roof bars.

Two lots of gear in a Ford KA. I'm sure we used to get all the gear for an overnighter aswell. Did take forever to load it though.. We were carrying our gear back then. Thinking about it we might even have got a barrow in . Everything had its place no space was wasted.

I could get my kit in an old style mini with a wheelbarrow, mind you I would have died in any sort of accident.

I can get all my kit with a tracker barrow in a Tesla model 3 easily. Great cars.

I use 10ft Scopes and they fit perfectly in the back of my Yaris. I did a week fishing public waters in Europe in it

I have a Fiat 500 and can fit a a full set of 12ft, barrow, bed chair etc

Easily done with some thought

Me and a mate went in his Citroën ax with all the gear for a 3 day sesh down to horseshoe many years ago. I had a bag of boilies in the glove box. Proper car jenga

Should be easy unless you go completely mad on gear. Years ago I took 3 of us from Sheffield to Surrey in a Megane coupe with all the gear for a 4 day session.

You can just about fit a set of rods across the back in a Yaris if you take the tips off or use a holdall. Bedchair with the seats down? Tight but doable depending on the model and how bulky your gear is

Used to have a Citroen C1 and could fit a PorterLite MK2 in there with the back seat down.
9ft rods but I was fishing days so no bed chair, worked well for a few seasons.
