Just wondering if any has tried the Fox Rx+ look alike bite alarms . Alarm and Receiver outer cases look the same seen then advertised on eBay the under name Coonor

I'm not aware of Fox manufacturing anything. Same as Trakker etc, I bought a bug zapper from E-bay last year. It's exactly the same as the Trakker one except it was under £10. Middlemen with carp tax are going to be under pressure with a shrinking market due to customers getting savvy, and competition getting greedy. It will bite them in the ass. 100's of different alarms out there now with great tech and cheap as chips. I wont go back to delkim greedy barstewards.

It wouldnt surprise me at all if they are exactly the same alarms as the rx+ but a quarter of the price. I bet they only cost about £10 to actually make anyway so they will still be making a fortune. You just have to look a aqua and cyprinus.

Dont be fooled...Won't be same alarms. They've just copied the shell design. I'd be staying way clear, they go wrong you won't be able to get them fixed.

i've asked the same question on a couple of facebook pages and seen a video they have the same tones as the genuine Fox RX+ the led lights have the changeable colours just a different way to change them toggle switch up and turn the volume dial from the video i saw from someone that owns them

Yep. Buy some for £250 and it may turn out to be a bargain. It's a lot to spend on something unknown though, and good luck getting any spares/warranty repairs/replacements.

Seen a fair few comments that the internals are not the same with no sealed circuits, suffer with water ingress and a fair few failed units!

Imo get the Micron x if the RX+ is over the budget and save further for the RX+ in the future or its successor
i would guess that as such a blatant copy is available that maybe Fox licence has run out/ relinquished for that design and they have a new one in the pipe line ???
i can imagine their top end alarms have taken a bit of a hit with the mini micron with receiver they released.

Only fox know for definite but i would say 99.9% there will be a new rx next year, even more of a dead cert now delkim have had two new alarms out since the rx+

I've been keeping an eye on Carpsounder alarms since they were mentioned on here. Very nearly bought the AGE alarms but they don't really do anything more than the Micron X.
They now have an AGE Pro model out that look very well specified. Only through German/EU suppliers at the minute but if Pechuer get them at a decent price (sub £500 for 3+1) I'll probably take the plunge.

They are all done here in the volumes they manufacture it does not make sense.

I asked, because I noticed Fox just released their bivvy light set. I would think you don't release such a set when you are phasing out the matching bite alarm. Or they will be compatible with the new alarms.

Well I managed to buy a set for £128 from AliExpress but to be honest they are no longer available at that price so god knows whether they will turn up or what I'll receive

That's good to hear yours turned up feel like I may have grabbed a bargain.
As far as I know from somebody selling these on eBay the night function on the heads is one of the only differences to the Rx+
And anybody wanting to see them look on YouTube for jy-82 pro bite alarm and you can clearly see that they sound exactly like Rx+

Received my alarms today and initial impression is outstanding value for money.
They sound exactly like Rx+ and the receiver receives every bleep for bleep if that makes sense and mimics exactly what you have on the head colour tone ect.
It seems that the night light will be permanently on and comes on when it gets dark whichi won't be using anyway and was a bit disappointed on the way you turn the receiver on as it looks the same as the Rx but the dial on top does nothing.you turn it on with a button on the back and has 8 different volumes.
Absolutely brilliant but of kit and if anybody can still buy them for £128 I suggest you go for it you won't be disappointed

I've got the camo fox micron x's same as Tom Maker, I've had them a couple of seasons now, great little buzzers for a sensible price, I can't see the need to buy twice the price and more RX+

I bought a set of 4 alarms and reciverJSFUN JS-84 alarms for£28,99 off TEMU they have tone
sensitivity and volume plus a night light on off button bit fiddly only used twice so not long term test ,but for the money good quality and all working(gone up to £75.00) so the cheap Chinese fox lookalike alarms might be worth a punt.

I noticed that maybe the video is flipped....in the video the buttons are on the left of the alarm, and the power switch on the right. That's the opposite to the Fox alarm.
So I paused, zoomed in and I think Peche was backwards on the paperwork.
Or, maybe they've flipped the left/right on purpose, so Fox can't say this company copied them!
