What 10ft rod are you using ? I'm still undecided, first thought was Free spirit ctx. Then Daiwa Crosscast but some of these rods look very floppy when casting so I'm still looking.

I use 10ft 3lb Nash scopes, love them, cannot comment on casting though as I only use them with a bait boat.

Anyone using the 10ft mk2 aircurves? The 12ft´s seem to be highly regarded allrounders, so wondering if the 10 footers perform equally as good.

I bought some on a whim but sent them back. Seemed a lovely blank and had a nice feel but the 50mm ringing was frankly ridiculous on a 10ft rod. Just my thoughts anyway

I come across the Daiwa Emblem Xt x45 10ft but this only comes in 3.5lb test, does it use the same blank as the Infinity ?
Had some Harrison Aviators custom built for me by Lee Preston Rods. They are fantastic cant see me use my custom 13ft Aviator Plus rods ever again. Light, mobile cast more than far enough and has a lovely action playing fish. Cant rate them enough

I've got a set of 10ft 3lb Shimano TX2's and for around £80 a rod is think they're great.

I have always used custom-built rods over the years but was so impressed with these that I went & bought a couple more & use them for 90% of my fishing now.
Don't be put off by the name - They have a superb playing action, backbone for big fish, ar light & have stood up to rough conditions. The rings aren't ceramic but that has never caused any issues with me.
