I got a foam board that gardeners use to kneel down on. About 6 quid. Brilliant and so useful.

Aerobie coffee press was about £22 always take that with me fishing it's a superb simple piece of kit
I can name a few things under £50 that were shocking but the worst has got to be some Cygnet bankstick I bought years ago , all fell to bits within a month of use

Worst under £50 item i ever bought was the ridge monkey spool finger gadget, it didn't apply much tension and snapped on its 1st outing, went back to a lolly stick and rubber bands

TFG chair £40 (guest chair)
Fell apart on the 1st use, needed to glue the plastic casing on the legs and tighten all the bolts.
Comfortable but always wanting to collapse

Been using the NGT version for years, half the price and it's a pack of 3 rather than 2 for the Trakker version.

The original version that the chap sold on the old Cemex forum were great - still using 4 of them...

Got 3 small chairs from Monton Bait Tackle (on ebay) in 2007. One for me, one for the wife & one for the lad. Used them loads, one broke about 5 years ago, another broke about 2 years ago but I mended it with the first broken chair, and the third is still going fine. I've had to sew the canvas covers a couple of times, but they have had a lot of use. And only £42 delivered, that's £14 a chair.
Threaded power spike for umbrella, bought in the early 90's and still going strong.
Cheap Gardner black banksticks with brass fittings on the top, again bought in the early 90's and still fine.
Bad things
Probably loads, but nothing specific springs to mind.

I have loads of these knocking around, I was trying to remember who it was that made them - I recall the Trakker ones coming out not long after he started selling them.

I've generally not done too bad but a purchase that was hyped on here and other forums from when I first joined. It was the stainless steel boiler chopper

As i recall... someone that bought them off him on the forum then took them to Trakker and got a slice of every sale, effectively passing the design off as their own. The trakker ones are pretty poor in comparison tbh

Probably slightly controversial..but my best buy for just under £50 has been the Korda tackle box bundle, I'm much more organised now and with the Compac case all my end tackle is really compact. If I'm doing a short session I put my chosen rigs in the tackle box saving the need for a rig box too.

Miltimat kumfi,like a gardners kneeling pad ,use it to sit on ,kneel on for fish pics ,a feet mat if your not using a ground sheet ,a back support in a rucksack great bit of kit ,approx a fiver..
Same company as above ,3x 25 adventure SIM mats ,..avoid...
