Do any of you use a dedicated car boot liner (for those without vans). Mines for a Honda CRV.

Ive always found the hard plastic liners better than material ones - contain spills better, can pick them up and shake them out easily and hose them down if they get too dirty.... ones like these

I have a hatchbag in mine, they cost a bit but work really well if you have the seats up and down all the time.

Ive had Rhino since 2012. Ive replaced the drivers cover once since as the backing comes off probably through being the heaviest used.

My old man has a Rhino and swears by it. I've got a van, so just got a generic one off ebay for 40 quid and it does the job.

All I use for both of my Comfortable Road vehicles, is a quality ,waterproofed backed picnic blanket ,after every sess or wood collecting trip etc,roll up the blanket inside, take it out shake repeat....cheaper than a dedicated protective cover had mine yrs ..
What you got mk1 or cross over, or other ?...Turtle covers for front seats..they brilliant 👍

Got mine off ebay, its a heavy duty rubber mat with a lip around the edge so if you spil any liquids it keeps them from going anywhere. There a perfect fit as made to fit your car boot. Just pick the one for your model of car. The material ones are rubbish.

Had an old version 2006 and just got 2015 version. Loads of space for usual mountain of kit ,reasonable econ for 1.6 Diesel and £30 yr Tax. Mega reliable and decent PX for the old battle bus. Always a compromise though!
Was toying with a van and another car as fishing kit ruins a decent motor - trudging down sh*te lanes and farmers fields!

Had my one owner mk1 ,until.today.. the cat was worth more than it was..now got a slightly newer version ...in petrol,got all terrains on it ,I use it ,but respect it as well..
Brilliant down lanes,over fields...I prefer the seat layflat version of the mk1 to my current version I must say..
Your old version ,sounds newer ,than my new version...lol..

I've got the hatchbag liners in both my cars and they get a fair bit of abuse with two gun dogs, fishing and tip runs. Can't fault them and if we change one of the cars I'll get another one. They get absolutely filthy but clean up and look as good as new.

We've got Hatchbag liners in our Berlingo. Longevity ..fitted in early 2007, ran a dog care business transporting pooches for 3 years as well as fishing trips in the U.K, so just in that time they got a hell of a lot of use, though granted we used a activated charcoal mat on top (great for neutralising and absorbing leaking net bags).
16 years later, still going strong, though naturally we'll marked up.
I particularly like the fact you can put the back seat flat by just undoing the velcro that connects the sides, meaning you can get your gear on top of your seats and they're still protected, thumbs up from me.

BAS / Bespoke Angling Supplies will do you a custom one (bivvy mat style) if you create a drawing with a scaled profile - if you have luggage fixing points you could ask for eyelets on the perimeter in these locations and clip it in with small carabiners and/or add velcro seat straps . . .
