Afternoon wise ones 
After some new polo shirts as my stock of Trakker ones has finally bitten the dust. I have to say these were excellent and they only cost about £7 each in a TT sale years ago.
Anything similar around? I want something with a decent weight, not some thin rubbish with a generous carp angler type cut lol. They don't need to be fishing branded but a nice olive green and not daft money.

Navitas gear is a good shout and they quite often have sales

Take a look at Carp Clothes. The gear is good quality and embroidered rather than printed so last a lot longer. Not needed to buy recently so not sure of current prices but used to be cheaper than the major branded stuff and higher quality

When looking for polo shirts make sure you get a heavyweight material, look for a shirt with a high gsm (grams square metre) look for a minimum of 200gsm,

I buy cheap polo shirts from my local JD sports for work. I think they are Slazenger. Nothing fancy but they are very hard wearing. I'm a heating engineer so they get covered in crap and boil washed every week. They last ages and I only pay about £7 or £8 for them. I normally get the matching hoodies for about a tenner as well.

agree mate, theres little chance of me paying more money for a hoody etc with trakker written on it when sports direct or primark etc will give me the same colour etc for a fraction of the price

Many years ago on here Pukka Carpin Rags were doing Snugpak softies
With their Pukka logo and the union jack thing. They ended up discounted lower than
The regular ones. I wanted a snugpak at the time.

Chers Gents, not a massive fan of those embroidered things, they're not very subtle are they? Lol
The really cheapo Primani stuff doesn't last in my experience but will have a looksee through some of the other suggestions, thanks for all the replies, much appreciated.

I bought plain ones they were doing them on clearance couple of years ago
seems they are not listed anymore it was when you could buy the shirt then add your choice of embroidery designs
Maybe Fruit of the Loom ? but TBH I bought Fruit of the Loom in the States and then here they were no where near the same quality here sadly

Yeah I think fruit of the loom went downhill a few years ago unfortunately. I think Marks and Spencers clothes are still pretty good. I have a few of their t shirts that feel nice, and hold up well. Usually do 2 for £15/20

Asda stuff never feels the same after the first wash. I used to rate GAP as well, but that's gone seriously downhill. I think they all have.

Same can be said for the majority of supermarket clothing. Looks OK but rarely lasts more than a few washes before it starts to fade and thin (or maybe my missus is just useless at washing?)

Agree, you can't go wrong with M&S for basic stuff like socks, pants and plain tees.

You've done it again Gerry, spotting a bargain with the embroidered carp clothing. Got a T Shirt, Polo Shirt and UV protection bucket hat, all for £35 delivered, well happy.

Tried a FOTL one, not that great. FWIW I ended up with the Cotton Traders ones.
Managed to get them for just over a tenner each with the discount and code thing, good quality, generously sized “large”, decent length , 210gsm and some whizzy collars that don't crease as much during the wash. They all feel quality and they're the right shade of green lol.
Will see what they're like after a few months but happy so far, thank you for the recommendation.
