Does anyone have any ideas how i might store a number of 1mtr fluorocarbon leaders without coiling them and kept under pressure/stretched?. The only idea i can think of is to use pipe lagging (pin each end of the leafer) but want the leaders protected in some form of case

Put the pipe lagging in a tube with caps at each end? Like a massive version of a float tube/Korda boom tube

yeah, thats the kind of thing i thought .... not sure where i might get a tube that long with a removeable lid?

In the US folk use swimming pool noodles to store their leaders on
You can also buy cheap fishing rod tubes on eBay just cut them to size.

One of them 2 1/2 inch Leeda tubes cut down with some 32mm waste pipe inside. Some elastic bands or similar on the waste pipe and bobs your aunties live in lover.

I usually hang them up at home with lead on end then put on rods when I'm going fishing. If I need a new one on bank I just put on a coiled one. Soon straightens out.

If you're making your own just use Rigmarole CamH20 - pulls straight under minimum pressure so you could keep them on winders / in a rig bin etc. Store all my barbel fluro sections exactly like this and they sit in a small tub in the rucksack - some are over 2m long

Bamboo cane with a few rig clips wipped and taped each end. Make the cane an inch or so longer. Then bend to put leaders in. Like a bow. Then slide into length of waste pipe to protect. Tape one end up and then push something down the end to protect and put hole lot into rod bag.

Same here normally pin them to a wall,also if I've prettied bags I out each one in a good bag(just so it keeps the pva bag safe) also stopes tangling at any point

Not if you use Rigmarole CamH20 - you could scrunch it in a ball and it will still pull straight under minimal tension and with no need for steaming etc

I can vouch for this stuff, amazing. Quite a bit of stretch in itso bare that in mind and stretch it out a bit before setting your length. Wish they did it in 35lb

I had some Carbon Fibre tube left over from sleeving a rifle barrel, fitted perfectly inside 2” foam pipe lagging to create a stiff rig tube for beach casting rigs.
The rigs are pinned in place and run ‘helter skelter' style from top to bottom so I get a 1meter rig on a 500mm tube. I will be doing the same thing for my leaders once I know which to go for...
