That good eh! 
Probably the worst company ever. I wouldnt even use the rods to grow tomatoes up on in the garden.

No, just trying to help. The chap is round the corner from me and is starting again after 25 years not fishing (read other posts). Perhaps he is on a budget, given he is looking at Badger.

My mate had some Badger stuff, the bivvy table, pram hood bivvy which had good quality material, he was pleased with it.
He also had a bedchair. Very heavy but performed ok.
Not the best but he was on a budget at the time.
I'd probably give the rods a miss though.

I thought Badger had stopped trading about 2001 when Des Taylor sold the company off so I cannot see anything new being available on the market
Only bit of Badger tackle I have is a landing net handle float and a tackle pouch and both are going strong to this day.

Back in the day there used to be a big fishing show at the NEC, one year thieves stole a lorry full of Badger tackle durring the show. Once the thieves realized what was in the back of the wagon they dumped the truck in a layby just south of Cannock.

They did bait too.
The Blue, Green and Purple 18mm were great for clearing drains.
The Pink, Yellow and Orange ones gave Boots the Bath Bombs idea, the Badger bait definitely foamed up better once in water though.

True story......chap I knew caught one of the biggest fish from one of the hardest waters in the country on a badger boilie!
