Hi, what suggestions do you guys have for asnag ridden water?
I'm not fishing into snags but the quarry are well aware of the advantages of pads and tree branches so I need something thick wired and non 'springy.
Barbless only, no exceptions allowed.

Would Pallatrax Gripz be acceptable?

I been using them in a pad infested lake,they seem strong ..!

Angling Iron Durapoint Conti XS or Anchor 👍

PB Jungle hooks come in a 4/6 barbless, I would look at those. Very strong hooks.

Fox edges hooks are made from a heavier gauge wire

Ashima 415/425 barbless. Not all ashima come in barbless, but very strong hooks, nothing springy.

Nash fang, never had any problems with that one being not strong, but still not sure about the pattern (but that's just me.)

Atomic hooks are really strong, only in barbed but you can flatten the barb with pliers if your rules permit.

I've ordered the Angling Iron ones mentioned and de-barbed the Atomic claw I rustled up from the vaults so that should do the trick I hope.

I couldn't believe the gauge of the size 4 pin point twisters when they were released, they look much heavier than the old version. Put me off to be honest, but probably an advantage in some situations.

Check out j precision hooks mate, not used anything else for a long time. Definitely be something there for you. If micro barbed, just crush the barb down, that's legal
