Hell, look at those prices for Barrows, never new they had got so expensive and I was thinking of buying a new one to replace my old aging carp porter that I bought years ago.
They are twice the price of the value of my Ford Fusion that I go fishing in and I do not even have to push it, yet.

Zack these are kits to convert your existing barrow to electric mate
A CARP PORTER POWER PORTER is £999 at Johnson Ross today
but if you have a decent carp porter already for less than HALF that you con convert your barrow in 15mins with this kit seems a good way to save £500 to me

Ive got nash power metro and a prestige xtreme big boy power porter and my pal has one of the kits below and did a self fit on his mk2 porter and I have to say im very impressed by themm and think they are well worth the money especially when you compare

I have the global conversion on my fox explorer with the modded front fork👍With wheels a mate made for back as well makes it so much easier.I went for the standard lipo battery which massively cuts down on the weight of the lead acids.Very good conversions and good customer service.

My Error, I only saw the "ENERGIZE UPGRADE KIT" and thought that was what your link was for, and all the prices under the barrow pictures was for the price of the barrow itself.

mine is the Deluxe voyager so had to get that option
I got the rear wheels at the beginning of the week and got my first problem
with the rear wheels fitted it wont go thru a normal size doorway anymore

regardless of age/health - I would suggest anyone who has used a power barrow wont ever revert back once theyve used one
PS why people get the hump about what others spend there money on is beyond me

I know, I was only teasing. Each to their own; I don't do enough exercise as it is, so perfectly happy to punish myself with the big heave ho on the barrow.

my attention was first drawn to the Global kit when a good friend of mine in lockdown had to sell up a lot of gear including his 24v power porter when he got back working again he started off with a standard M2 porter then when funds allowed he bought the Global kit and said its easily as good and prefers it

I've just sent him my rear barrow frame to get rear wheels added to it. I'll give some feedback when it's done, but he fully understood my somewhat crap description of what I wanted. Looks good ive been looking at these for months now in various guises, I assume the forks supplied are the ones that come down and are welded to another set of forks in essence to accomodate the wider wheel ??
I hope my description is understandable... I have the explorer deluxe and the wheel is pretty narrow and the locking wheels are on the same side (eg the back) so it would appear that that is correct.
My only concern is that the welds there would be taking a lot of stress repeatedly, and as such would have to be very strong in my mind, but im not an expert , And please dont think im putting it down at all, I think they are great a bargain compared to the 1000 pound options , if i had the money id buy one today to be honest, im sure the guys who build them know more than me when it comes to design.

the Fox Voyager Deluxe wheel forks are wider than the standard narrow ones and so they made a special set thats been well tested and lots of people are using it
simply undo the locking hand wheel nuts on your existing wheel drop it off slide the new motorized wheel on do up the locking hand wheel nuts .......... piece of cake

but I prefer the Plug and play kit all done for me and takes 15 mins to fit and if anything goes wrong I can pick the phone up and get it sorted and dont mind paying for the privilege

I will be honest initially I was thinking I will save even more money and get the Ali kit but then seeing so many people on the facebook group having problems with fuses blowing and speed controllers failing and braking down I thought its just not worth it for me I need total reliability

Barrow Conversion are another company worth speaking to, they do the conversion kit place rear wheels which are quality as I've purchased a pair for mine.

Can't say I've had an issue as yet I did blow a 15 amp fuse and now use a 20 which has been fine and it pulls like a train.

A great aid to get you to the swim, however how do you deal with a fish, playing and landing it with spinal damage? Sounds pretty horrific!

This kit contains a pair of chunky 13" rear wheels with off-road tread pattern.
Featuring a stainless steel pin to hold the weight of the barrow, and prevent the legs slipping down.

I can also recommend Global Angling Products conversions. Powered my Mk4S, and as Gerry said, 15-30 mins to fit.
Had a battery problem, quick call to GAP, described the problem, and another is in the post - excellent customer service. You never know how good a company is until you have an issue

I think these wheels are the best I have seen and the price is really good too
I have seen the lightweight wheels some people use but they are plagued with punctures because the tyres are so thin
