Being as I don't post too often on here due to my sick sense of humour , what's the opinion of this latest creation from the get rich quick company

Looks decent, and well priced in comparison to others, if its as good. Not sure theres much to mess up with a cool box but you never know. Probably not even in the country yet for anyone to have seen one though

It's does look good. I don't use a cool box, but it looks so cool and Carpy I'm tempted to buy one anyway. Maybe I could use it instead of a bucket or something.

Looks nice but only a 12l capacity.......thats tiny.

Apparently, holds 12 bottles of lager. Could probably squeeze a Ginsters pasty in as well. So should be ok for short sessions.

12 litres is far to small. Always found 20-25 litres the perfect size for my needs. My 40 litre icey tec was huge and took up half my boot. Use a yeti 24 now and its a much better shape than my 25 litre icey tec as it goes behind the seat in the car as its taller and thinner.

you know how the ripoffmonkey train works....they bring the smaller one out, then they bring out the size it should of been the first time.

I brought the vango 5 piece set that was OG approved, £15 cheaper and more than twice the size with extra. Don't see the value of the ridgemonkey if I'm honest

Spankmonkey are branching out. Went out on my motorbike today, called in at a large motorcycle clothing dealer on the way, had their clothing in, green combats and a similar top, must be decent mark ups for them?

They've been branching out for ages. They had a big push on the toasters for cooking in a VW bus.

Any idea what size the little green trakker boxes are as I use one of those without any issues on an overnighter. Would that be about the same size??

Years ago trakker sold a little compact cool box, it's a green hard plastic cool box with a moulded lid. I've used it for years. I'm surprised they stopped selling them, for single nights they are perfect, I get a pint of milk, some fry up stuff, biscuits in it with an ice block.

Thought you were on a bout clothing

If its just for 24 hours I just use a coolbag its plenty good enough my frozen bottle of water will still have ice in when I pack up 24 hours later
I just dont see the point in these very small cool boxes

I love my Trakker 13litre cool box ,.... I use it daily for work and doubles up when fishing as a table/foot rest and being plastic doesnt matter how wet it gets

It's nice and fairly prices comparatively... But far too small for me. As Gerry said below, what's the point in a cool box for 24 hours or less?

I use my 11ltr Metabo for one night on the bank ideal for me to keep what I need fresh as I can get my evening and next morning items in along with a pint of milk and a couple of cold cans reasonably priced as well.

I got mine from Kelvin power in the UK a few years ago for £25 there at £36 now £40 including carriage

They've just brought out a 24lr that has cold/warm function with bottle opener works on 18volt battery, 12volt car charger or 240V, a few other tool manufacturers are bringing out coolers working off your tool battery's but they are silly prices at the moment if you have the right type of tool batteries for the cooler helps, Price on the cooler isn't too bad.

Metabo Cool box only then another 300 notes for a charger and two batteries

A bigger version is already in the pipeline,the 12ltr is due out late June

So I tried hanging the food in the tree. Got done by squirrels.

I'd be worried that Roland might chew through a soft cool bag type. That's why I use the hard plastic trakker one even if it's a bit small for a session.

Luckily there's plenty of shops near where I fish so I'm fortunate that I don't have to stock up

In hot weather things like milk can turn in a matter of a few hours. Plus, who wants to drink warm drinks? Or eat sweaty sausage rolls etc?

dunno what crappy cool bag you must use ?

but my coolbag ( costco one) keeps everything ice cold easily for 24 to 48 hours no problem in the height of summer using my frozen bottle of water as an ice pack its never ever fully melted in 48 hours in my coolbag

I still use the small tracker one on short sessions just for my bacon and sausages and a few bits to keep them fresh .
If I'm on a session or France 🇫🇷 I take my Icytek 75 litre with 4 packs 👍


Both have a bottle opener within 😂

I don't, I use a box. I have a small igloo for a night or 2 and a large one for long sessions. Plus rats and mice can't chew through them which is a bonus. I was answering matey anyway about not using one at all Gerry

I've never had milk turn in a few hours in a cool bag.

I've had drinks stay cold for 48 hours in my nash 30 years coolbag, too. Just don't see the need for a coolbox.

Whatever suits you chap, there's no right or wrong answer. Never found a fishing branded bag that's really any good though Tbh.

I just don't think I could fish if I thought my chocolate hob nobs might melt. I couldn't take the stress.

If you wanted to make the ultimate cool box I'd have gone for.

Small lid opening (in addition to main) for milk only, it's what kills most by constantly opening.
A light that goes on when you open in the dark (I have one from eBay lashed on my current)
Easy to open (this looks like it's the case) as opposed to the Korda

even better 2 compartments with 2 lids so you dont have to open both all the time... yes I know you can get 2 boxes but it is not the same.
