Giving the spinner rig a go and been trying different 12mm pop ups but can't seem to find any that keep up a size 4 spinner rig other than proper job pop ups, but not a huge fan on the flavours. I see Korda etc using mainline ones but I've had zero luck with them maybe just got a bad batch? How they soak theirs and still keep up a spinner rig I don't know...

What 12mm pop ups are people using?

You can buy unflavoured PJPU and add your own liquids/flavours/powders. What is it that you are after? He has a big selection.

What hooks are you using? The gauge of the wire from one style of hook to another can vary quite a lot

Maybe me but a size 4 with a twelve mill bait? I'd be using a size 8 or 6.

Another one for the northern special plus (ns+) they will definitely hold it up, the normal standard ones won't thought so make sure you order the right ones, or like already mentioned get any flavour your like then put a small bit of cork into it

Apparently, the spinner rig works better with larger size hooks! Thanks for the suggestions, probably buy some of the unflavoured proper jobs and soak them.

From experience Proper Job popups are one of the best airball popups on the market.

Whilst you are there you could have a look at sticky baits and see how many fish tom maker catches on their baits

Just because it is on their facebook page doesn't mean anything. Maker is probably one of sticky's most successful anglers and is obviously constantly popping up with massive hauls on their bait. Id be surprised if he's actually used a sticky product on a hook in the last 5 years

Bit cynical considering on a lot of tge films you see a sticky hookbaits hanging out the carps mouth. Are you implying something?

But also I never mentioned Sticky? You're just habitually out to challenge anything I say.

I'm not even challenging the mad baits comment, i have my opinion on them as do many others. Im questioning your arguement that fb is a reliable source regarding how well a bait is doing

I use the sticky analogy because it is well known that tom maker is a worm /maggot / particle angler and has been for a very long time yet he is their poster boy for their boilies. Many many companies have done this and my friends have too (2 of whom fished for mad baits but were lumping in maggots, worms and particle)

Nothing nasty in my comment at all, im not targeting anything at you, i just think that fb is a poor analogy to use

What you trying to say about facebook? Tracey from basildon is on facebook and seems to know everything there is about world politics, tennis during Wimbledon and the coronavirus, if that not reliable, then nothing is

Speaking of worms and Sticky. Does anybody know what the story was with Sticky Bloodworm boilies? They used to do them frozen and now only available in dry old shelf life.

What (if any) bloodworm product/content was in there?

I'm goi g to make this very very clear for you.

I told Goose to check Facebook

Goose is called Glenn

We are connected on Facebook

I sent him a message about pop ups over Facebook

As he replied in here prior to Facebook, I thought to remind him.

End. Fin. That was it.

You interpreted it incorrectly, as I'd hinted before. Please understand what I am saying, I'm not sure how much more plainly I can put it. I responded to Glenn, no one else, he understood, he checked our chat on facebook.

I'm not sure why anyone would ban you Mozzi,..

However, someone mentioned carping is a nasty game, nothing wrong with carping essentially, except for some of the individuals who participate in the pastime..

Just seems to me a lot of very insecure, and jealous people in society today..,you only have to look at people's faces ,..

(All because the uber eats was late the night before)..

No.. He uses worms, just like most of the consultants. They still say they caught on sticky baits though..
They have been using worms for all the big catches.

The mad baits are very buoyant popups, I've got a couple of pots. I'm surprised the bottom baits aren't more buoyant considering the amount of rubber shreds in them.

Even if that was true they'd reimburse your bait and probably a bit extra knowing them. Freak accidents occur. Last year I had to empty and rebag some bait because after weight them all and going to seal them, two little frogs got into two of the bags! I'd sealed them and was going to put the bag in a box and saw the poor bugger so checked the other bags. I **** you not.

Realistically thinking about rubber you'd have to ask what could it be? What colour? Where could it have come from for that contamination to happen?

However as you've brought it up multiple times, but not spoken to them, I'm unsure as to why you've not given them the chance to rectify the situation?

Even if it was 50kg that's nothing to them ten minutes worth perhaps, the factory manager takes a lot of pride in his work and would of been eager to right that situation.
